This shortfilm was made as our first entry in the shortfilm competition ‘Shoot Your Shot’ organized by De Schuur in Haarlem. During the production I was helped by Benjamin Treur and River de Lugt. I did most of the camerawork and edited the video together with Benjamin. This was a fun first attempt into a shortfilm competition. We did not place but it was a fun and educational production.
We started the video with the characters seperated, but when we got to splitscreen, every shot had to be planned out. It was a challenge to get two different narratives side-by-side that the audience would be able to both follow. In the end we got compliments from the jury members for achieving that.
