Everyone has fears. So do I. Something I have learned is that the thing your fear is usually not as intimidating as it seems. I wanted to make a shortfilm about confronting a phobia. In this case it follows someone with leporiphobia, a fear of bunnies. This phobia seems somewhat unnecessary to most people, because bunnies or rabbits are seen as cute, yet a group of people still suffer from it. Some phobia’s seep into daily life in small ways other people may not even notice. I sometimes feel like my fears do not make sense, so that is what I tried to portray. At the end, the main character confronts his fear by petting a real bunny and realises that bunnies are not as fearfull as he thought.

I implemented a lot of different media throughout the video, trying to make the anxiety feel surreal and larger than life. There is animation with 3D software, drawings and paper.

Because I was filming alone, I did not have many moving shots. Also I was short on time so I made some shortcuts. This project taught me a lot about my workflow and how important it is to have a crew during the shoots.
